Dem candidate declines capitalist label; why it matters - Morning Joe had vote for Trump in 2020!

Former Gov. John Hickenlooper declined to consider himself a capitalist during his Friday Morning Joe interview. Joe Scarborough, Willie Geist and Donny Deutsch share their thoughts.

watch:

As this clip begins, Joe Scarborough is actually lamenting the fact that Democrats running for president can’t even admit they are capitalists.
Earlier in the day, 2020 candidate Gov. Hickenlooper couldn’t even admit to Morning Joe that he’s a proud capitalist, which led Joe to argue that the Democratic Party is in crisis if their candidates can’t even support capitalism. He suggested Trump will destroy them if the party continues down this socialistic/anti-capitalism path.
Donny Deutsch completely agreed and suggested that, despite finding Trump to be a reprehensible human being, he’d still vote for him over these socialist candidates, because socialism is so dangerous!
And that’s when Morning Joe quickly corrected Deutsch, telling him that there’s no way he’d ever vote for a bigot like Trump. And Deutsch backed down like Big Chief Elizabeth Warren from a DNA test. It was quite pathetic actually.

  1. Well, as most of you remember I didn’t vote for trump, but I darn sure will over any Democrat running for POTUS, and trump hasn’t done a bad job regardless of what the Dem’s say.

NBC Washington Correspondent Yamiche Alcindor and former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade join Andrea Mitchell to discuss key challenges facing the January 6 Committee ahead of their primetime hearings this week: getting a "distracted nation" to pay attention and understand what's at stake. “I think the biggest challenge for lawmakers here, as they talk about these sort of huge ideas of American democracy and sort of the experiment that we're all living in, benefiting from, possibly being brought to his knees, is whether or not they can make people care,” says Alcindor. “The American public has been groomed to expect high value quick entertainment,” says McQuade. "I think putting together a polished show can be very important."
