Chris Rock slams Jussie Smollett at NAACP awards: 'What the hell was he thinking?'

Image
"They said 'No Jussie Smollett jokes' ... What a waste of light skin. Do you know what I could do with that light skin? That curly hair? My career would be out of here! I'd be running Hollywood," said Rock, who was on hand to present the award for Outstanding Comedy Series. He continued: "What the hell was he thinking? You're 'Jessie' from now on. You don't get the 'u' no more. That 'u' was respect. You ain't getting no respect from me!" This is fantastic. Chris Rock was told not to make jokes about Jussie Smollett at the NAACP awards. They don’t know Chris Rock: Chris Rock doesn’t give a damn. He has been targeted by the humorless “woke” liberal crowd already, and it doesn’t seem like he cares to go along with politically correct demands. Good for him. And don’t mistake me, I’m not saying he’s now a warrior for free speech or conservative values. But at least some people are saying “eff off” to the PC

Brian Stelter shocked by 'Fox & Friends' error

Image
Brian Stelter discusses President Donald Trump's close relationship with Fox News, highlighting clips from the network with false information. There's being bad at geography, an affliction from which many Americans suffer, and then there's being really bad at geography. Whoever writes the on-screen text for Fox & Friends Weekend appears to be in the latter category. How else would the morning news show have wound up with a chyron that claims the existence of three distinct Mexicos? The chyron error, captured by CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter, reads "Trump cuts U.S. aid to 3 Mexican countries." The obvious issue being that there is only one Mexican country. It is called Mexico. This is an actual banner from "Fox & Friends Weekend." 6:03am today. I double checked because I didn't believe it at first. Hat tip @BadFoxGraphics pic.twitter.com/tTNH0Y7a25 — Brian Stelter (@brianstelter) March 31, 2019 The actual news behind

Lucy Flores claims Joe Biden kissed her without consent

CNN's Jake Tapper speaks to a former Nevada state assemblywoman who says that former Vice President Joe Biden made her feel "uneasy" in 2014 when, at a campaign rally in Nevada, she said he kissed her on the back of the head. Joe Biden is firing back at his accuser for saying that he did to her what he’s done to others in clear view of video cameras many times before. So. UHm. Kinda stupid. Anyway, he got some hispanic dude to say it never happened: New: Henry Munoz, the Co-Founder of Latino Victory Project, who organized the event with Lucy Flores and Joe Biden, questions Flores’ account, says he believes the two were never alone together. pic.twitter.com/vGa4nyyk2t — Alex Seitz-Wald (@aseitzwald) March 31, 2019 Even some liberals are like WOW, why won’t Biden come out and deny it himself? So then he did. Statement from @JoeBiden this morning. pic.twitter.com/EbCchX2npU — Bill Russo (@BillR) March 31, 2019 Yashar Ali points out what others ar

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on what makes her different from Trump

Image
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on why her movement is not the “Tea Party of the left,” but rather a “return to American representative democracy.” For many Americans, it's easier to believe that Russia — not American voters — installed Trump as president. On Sunday, Attorney General Barr released his summary of Mueller's report, writing that Mueller had found insufficient evidence to prove that Trump conspired with the Russians during the 2016 election. For folks who had hoped that the Mueller report would result in Trump's impeachment, it was heartbreaking. For Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, however, the Mueller report was more than that. It was a wake-up call. "Foreign influence" wasn't the only reason Trump got elected, Ocasio-Cortez claimed in response to a tweet by George Takei. Russia was successful precisely because they played on "national wounds that we refuse to address." This is the REAL conversation we need to have as a

Far-left AOC, Pressley push back against Dem leaders' bid to shield incumbents from primary challengers

Image
Ocasio-Cortez and Pressley, both insurgents who ousted entrenched members of their own party, criticized a recently disclosed policy by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) to blacklist political firms that agree to work against sitting members of Congress, calling the policy "harmful to the party." “The @DCCC’s new rule to blacklist+boycott anyone who does business w/ primary challengers is extremely divisive & harmful to the party," Ocasio-Cortez, who unseated 10-term incumbent Joe Crowley, tweeted Saturday. The @DCCC ’s new rule to blacklist+boycott anyone who does business w/ primary challengers is extremely divisive & harmful to the party. My recommendation, if you’re a small-dollar donor: pause your donations to DCCC & give directly to swing candidates instead. Some great ones: — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) March 30, 2019 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been caught in so many gaffes they should just started replacing t

Some great CNN' show talking about Donald Trump and The Mueller report

Image
CNN's Erin Burnett discusses the Trump administration telling a federal court that the entire Affordable Care Act should be struck down -- a dramatic reversal of its previous position. Watch: The very lovely Mary Katherine Ham doesn’t disappoint in this new clip of her on CNN today. In it she eviscerates Trump critics who refuse to accept the findings of the Mueller report and are suggesting that Trump colluded. She even calls them out for “fervently” hoping that Trump would be guilty. Watch: I love that right when she made the comment about ‘not setting the bar’ so low, the dude with the pink tie (can’t remember his name) was sitting there shaking his head thinking exactly that. Which is honestly a ridiculous notion anyway. Nobody is setting the bar too low. Trump had always said he didn’t collude and it turns out that he was right all along. We’re just happy the findings agreed with what he’d always said and that it’s over. But more than that, I love how

President Trump says AOC’s ‘extreme’ plan could help him win in 2020

Image
President Trump  mocking Democrats'  Green New Deal  as "an extreme, $100 trillion government takeover" of the economy. "I'd rather not talk about it tonight, Trump told his audience, "because I don't want to talk them out of it too soon. Because I love campaigning against the Green New Deal. I want them to make that a big part of their platform." "No more airplanes, no more cows," Trump said. "One car per family ... You know, I don't think one car per family in Michigan plays too well, do you agree? Not too well. "And it's got to be, of course, an electric car," the president went on as the crowd jeered the Green New Deal. "Even if it only goes, what? 160 miles? What do you do? It's 160 miles. Darling, where do I get a charge? Where do I get a charge?" Watch: Yesterday evening the commissioner for the Customs and Border Protection, Kevin McAleenan, issued a stark statement for the public

Rep. Eric Swalwell: The only person caught lying about Russia is the president

Image
This morning we showed you the ridiculous interview with Rep. Swalwell, who claims the phony dossier is ‘factual’ and still believes Trump is a Russian agent. I’m confident that if there were another jihadist attack, Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., would be right there with his fellow Democrats, demanding more legal rights for enemy combatants while his fellow progressive lawyers queued up from Harvard Yard to Guantanamo Bay to volunteer their services to those who’d been detained. After all, as they’ve told us for years, due process for the enemy is part of “our values” – it’s “who we are.” Devin Nunes went on right after Swalwell and responded to his comments. And I have to say, he nails is pretty good. Watch: Nunes actually calls Swalwell a ‘chupacabra hunter’! That’s so perfect, LOL! Here’s more of what he said via the Daily Caller: “No, I actually think you should just give him the entire show because the American people will see what they voted for,” Nunes said b

Rachel Maddow : " I can say it continuing robustly"

Image
Darren Samuelsohn, senior reporter at Politico, talks with Rachel Maddow about the revelation in court that the Mueller grand jury is still active, at least in the case of one company that had been resisting a Mueller subpoena and continues to ask that it not be identified in public. There may still be hope for America yet. Rachel Maddow, who was crying Friday night after initial reports showed that Trump had been vindicated by the Mueller investigation, was more than likely crying yesterday when her ratings came in for Monday night. According to the Daily Beast, they plummeted: Here’s more: Within MSNBC, there’s an acknowledgement that the Trump-Russia narrative on which the cable network—and especially its primetime star Maddow—built monster ratings has fizzled for the moment. Insiders also claim not to be surprised that the conclusion of the long-awaited Mueller report—or at least the Trump-appointed attorney general’s summary—was a whimper, not a bang for an outl

Chicago Police Officer says their COMPLETE file on the Jussie Smollett MAGA hoax!

Former Chicago Police Officer Says Smollett Has Been Consistent About One Thing: 'Lying' In the words of Phillip Kerpen, this is the “ world’s fastest FOIA response “. CWB Chicago submitted a FOIA requested and has quickly gotten their hands on the complete Chicago PD Jussie Smollett investigative files and has now released them to the public. “a near system-wide meltdown” – Kirstjen Nielsen sounds the alarms over border crisis!

Image
Kirstjen Nielsen on threats to the homeland, election security and the emergency on the southern border Every day we continue to get bad news about the border, which is being overrun by Central American migrants applying for asylum as well as migrants crossing illegally. Just last night, CBP reported that we had the worst day in over 10 years: #BorderPatrol recorded more than 3,700 apprehensions along the Southwest Border yesterday—the largest single day total in more than a decade. pic.twitter.com/JqazvQtoGI — CBP (@CBP) March 27, 2019 And how many of them were released into the US after they requested asylum? Probably most of them! This morning, DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said this is no longer an emergency, it’s a near system-wide meltdown: Make no mistake—our border crisis has gone from a national emergency to a near system-wide meltdown. We must be able to secure our borders AND protect vulnerable populations fleeing persecution. But we can’t do this eff

Toobin and Cooper grill Smollett's attorney; ‘The View’ is ripping into Jussie Smollett getting off scot free

Image
CNN's Jeffrey Toobin and Anderson Cooper question Jussie Smollett's attorney Tina Glandian. The case against Jussie Smollett is so strong that even the harpies on The View are criticizing Chicago for letting him off. Watch below: Some comments via Mediaite: Sunny Hostin said it was a “little confusing” and it seems “strange” because of how the police department appeared to be blindsided by the whole thing. “The police department is saying ‘we had enough evidence,’ the prosecution is saying ‘he’s not exonerated, we believed in our case,’ and Jussie’s saying ‘I did nothing wrong I told the truth. So what the heck happened?!” she continued. Abby Huntsman said if Smollett wasn’t “a well-known person,” it’s doubtful he’d be in this position right now. Ana Navarro added at one point, “Sometimes people are guilty of criminality but if you can’t prove it, some folks decide not to prosecute. Sound familiar?” Meghan McCain reminded people of the supposed political

Ocasio-Cortez rips McConnell for Green New Deal vote: 'He doesn't want to save our planet'

Image
Speaking to Vox reporter Ella Nilsen, Ocasio-Cortez accused McConnell of rushing a vote and not wanting to take action against climate change "because he thinks we can drink oil in 30 years when all our water is poisoned. “What McConnell’s doing is that he’s trying to rush this bill to the floor without a hearing... without working through committee -- because he doesn’t want to save our planet. Because he thinks we can drink oil in 30 years when all our water is poisoned,” she reportedly said. In a tweet on Monday, McConnell seemingly addressed accusations that he was manipulating the vote to divide Democrats. “I could not be more glad that the American people will have the opportunity to learn precisely where each one of their senators stand on the ‘Green New Deal’: a radical, top-down, socialist makeover of the entire U.S. economy," he wrote. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tossed another childish temper tantrum today, this time while speaking in Congress. Watch b

Trump vows to release FISA docs in 'Hannity' exclusive; Rand Paul is telling Trump to DE-CLASSIFY documents to FLUSH OUT the deep state!

Image
Donald Trump told anchor Sean Hannity that his lawyers previously had advised him not to take that dramatic step out of fear that it could be considered obstruction of justice. "I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release," Trump said. "I have some very talented people working for me, lawyers, and they really didn't want me to do it early on. ... A lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. I'm glad I didn't do it. We got a great result without having to do it, but we will. One of the reasons that my lawyers didn't want me to do it, is they said, if I do it, they'll call it a form of obstruction." Trump added: "Frankly, thought it would be better if we held it to the end. But at the right time, we will be absolutely releasing." Rand Paul went on the onanistic network to explain why he’s asking Trump to de-classify documents in order to expose the players in the deep state that targe

BREAKING!! Chicago police release files in 'Empire' star Jussie Smollett case

Chicago prosecutors on defense after dropping all charges against Jussie Smollett.  The FBI is apparently looking into why Chicago dropped the charges against Jussie Smollett, but it’s not an official investigation yet. Mike Pompeo now EXPANDING Mexico City policy to prevent even more global abortions!

Image
In  Pompeo'  announcement on the changes to the so-called Mexico City policy, he said that the U.S. has extended the ban to include organizations that comply with the rule but give money to others that don’t – adding that the Trump administration will not allow American taxpayer money to pay for “back-door funding schemes and end runarounds to our policy.” “This administration has shown we can meet critical health care goals while refusing to subsidize the killing of unborn babies,” Pompeo said. “As result of my decision, we will refuse to provide support to NGOs who provide funds to other organizations that promote abortion." As of this announcement, these same foreign NGOs can now no longer fund  other organizations  that provide these abortion services. Here’s the announcements I found on Twitter: . @SecPompeo announces expansion to Mexico City policy: US now won't assist NGOs that fund third parties that provide abortions. And Pompeo announces US will re

If Mueller’s report is great news for Trump, why can’t we see it?

Image
Over the last 48 hours or so, Americans have seen quite a bit of coverage about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia scandal. What they have not seen is Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia scandal. Literally everything we know about the document has come from a brief summary of the report, written by Attorney General William Barr, handpicked by Donald Trump to lead the Justice Department. Barr, a Republican lawyer who’s only been at his post for about five weeks, has offered his assessment about Mueller’s findings – but that’s all he’s prepared to share. Last week, the House voted 420 to 0 on a measure calling for the attorney general to release the actual Mueller report to the public. It’s against this backdrop that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) tried yesterday to pass, by unanimous consent, the same resolution in the upper chamber. That didn’t work. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Monday blocked an effort by Sen

Ocasio-Cortez girlls Mike Lee: ‘If this guy can be Senator, you can do anything’

Image
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in response to a screenshot of the Republican Utah lawmaker while he spoke on the Senate floor. Like many other women + working people, I occasionally suffer from impostor syndrome: those small moments, especially on hard days, where you wonder if the haters are right. But then they do things like this to clear it right up. If this guy can be Senator, you can do anything. https://t.co/vU4ChbTnnr — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) March 26, 2019 The  tweet   she responded to showed a photo of Lee smiling as he stood beside a large poster of several babies. It also quoted some of his remarks before yielding his time. "The solution to climate change is not this unserious resolution...the solution to so many of our problems at all times and in all places is to fall in love, get married, and have some kids." - @SenMikeLee on @AOC and @SenMarkey 's Green New Deal This is a real quote. pic.twitter.com/fbMzgwUMxA — Waleed S
