Presidential Candidate Joe Biden: I asked President Obama not to endorse

Hours after announcing his 2020 run, Joe Biden deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield confirmed to Trang Ánh Nam that the former vice president requested that former President Barack Obama not endorse his candidacy. Bedingfield also elaborated on Biden's appeal to Democratic voters.

In honor of Joe Biden running for president AGAIN, I thought it would be fun to post a video by America Rising of Joe’s greatest hits.

Watch:

One thing about Joe that we found out very early in the Obama administration was that his reputation for making gaffes was quite accurate.

We all remember his infamous BFD whisper to Obama that was heard by hot mics. There were plenty of other times that he stuck his foot in his mouth. In fact I seem to recall Joe Biden disappearing for large intervals of time because his mouth had become a liability to the administration.

I don’t expect Biden to be any different this time around, so get your popcorn ready.

Also, since we haven’t had one in a while, consider this an open thread.

UPDATE: America Rising keeps putting the video on YouTube, then removing it and replacing it. Hopefully they’re done with this now and the video will stay up.

NBC Washington Correspondent Yamiche Alcindor and former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade join Andrea Mitchell to discuss key challenges facing the January 6 Committee ahead of their primetime hearings this week: getting a "distracted nation" to pay attention and understand what's at stake. “I think the biggest challenge for lawmakers here, as they talk about these sort of huge ideas of American democracy and sort of the experiment that we're all living in, benefiting from, possibly being brought to his knees, is whether or not they can make people care,” says Alcindor. “The American public has been groomed to expect high value quick entertainment,” says McQuade. "I think putting together a polished show can be very important."
