Dems who fumed over 'sources and methods' in Nunes memo demanding full Mueller report

Democrats prepare to subpoena full, unredacted report; Rep. Mark Meadows and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz react.

Attorney General Barr hasn’t even had a chance to release the Mueller report yet and Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are already promising to subpoena the full report with a vote this week.
They are clearly angry that the Barr summary vindicated the president, as they’ve been accusing Barr of all manner of bias since his summary came out.
Here’s more:
TPM – House Judiciary Committee chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said in a statement Monday that the committee will hold a vote on authorizing subpoenas of the full Mueller report and its underlying evidence Wednesday.
Nadler also said that the committee will vote on issuing subpoenas to five people who used to be in Trump’s orbit and have some knowledge of the report: former Trump lawyer Donald McGahn, former White House chief strategist Steven Bannon, former White House communications director Hope Hicks, former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and former Trump lawyer Ann Donaldson.
“As I have made clear, Congress requires the full and complete Special Counsel report, without redactions, as well as access to the underlying evidence. Attorney General Barr has thus far indicated he will not meet the April 2 deadline set by myself and five other Committee chairs, and refused to work with us to provide the full report, without redactions, to Congress,” Nadler wrote. “The Attorney General should reconsider so that we can work together to ensure the maximum transparency of this important report to both Congress and the American people. The full and complete report must be released to Congress without delay.”
Democrats don’t want to accept the findings that Trump never colluded with Russia so they are trying to create a cloud of suspicion around the ‘full Mueller report’.
It doesn’t matter that Barr has promised to release as much of the report as he can without violating the law. It’s really pathetic.
But I doubt Barr will honor their subpoena, which is probably what these Democrats expect. And they’ll just use that as more ‘evidence’ that Trump really colluded and Barr is hiding it from the American people or something.

NBC Washington Correspondent Yamiche Alcindor and former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade join Andrea Mitchell to discuss key challenges facing the January 6 Committee ahead of their primetime hearings this week: getting a "distracted nation" to pay attention and understand what's at stake. “I think the biggest challenge for lawmakers here, as they talk about these sort of huge ideas of American democracy and sort of the experiment that we're all living in, benefiting from, possibly being brought to his knees, is whether or not they can make people care,” says Alcindor. “The American public has been groomed to expect high value quick entertainment,” says McQuade. "I think putting together a polished show can be very important."
