President Trump says Speaker Pelosi's decision is a 'great blotch' on America

On reporters Wednesday afternoon, President Trump says  Pelosi canceled the State of the Union because she 'doesn't want to hear the truth'.
"Nancy Pelosi, or Nancy as I call her, she doesn't want to hear the truth, doesn't want American people to hear the truth," Mr. Trump said, appearing to give Pelosi a nickname that was just her first name. He also said that the Democratic Party had become "radicalized" and "very dangerous," and accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of being too submissive to Pelosi.
"I think that Chuck Schumer, sadly, is dominated by the radical left and he's dominated by Nancy Pelosi. Very strongly dominated. He can't move. He's a puppet for Nancy Pelosi, if you can believe that," Mr. Trump said.

Or you can watch this one:
Trump didn’t give any indication that he’s planning on doing the SOTU address elsewhere. I know Sarah Sanders discussed having a backup plan this morning, but we’ll see if they decide to implement that.
For now, it looks like the SOTU is off until after the government shutdown. And I guarantee you Pelosi will not be criticized much for doing this in the media, even after she extended the invitation during the government shutdown.
I do see a headline on CNN suggesting that Trump is looking for another venue to hold the SOTU. So we’ll see how that works out.

  1. It's funny to watch the left prolong its own agony. There's no way for Dems to win this fracas as long as he's resolved. He knows it, too.

And the media can't help Pelosi. No one believes a word from them. Not even their own radicals are dumb enough to actually believe them, no matter how much they whistle, yell, and applaud the lies.

NBC Washington Correspondent Yamiche Alcindor and former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade join Andrea Mitchell to discuss key challenges facing the January 6 Committee ahead of their primetime hearings this week: getting a "distracted nation" to pay attention and understand what's at stake. “I think the biggest challenge for lawmakers here, as they talk about these sort of huge ideas of American democracy and sort of the experiment that we're all living in, benefiting from, possibly being brought to his knees, is whether or not they can make people care,” says Alcindor. “The American public has been groomed to expect high value quick entertainment,” says McQuade. "I think putting together a polished show can be very important."
