Kamala Harris admits she wants to get rid of PRIVATE health care plans: ‘That’s not American’

Harris, who announced her 2020 bid for the White House last week, was asked by CNN host Jake Tapper Monday night if people could keep their current health care plan under her “Medicare-for-All” plan. She indicated that people could not, suggesting she wants to move toward a single-payer system rather than a mere expansion of Medicare.

"Well, listen, the idea is that everyone gets access to medical care. And you don't have to go through the process of going through an insurance company, having them give you approval, going through the paperwork, all of the delay that may require," Harris told Tapper.

In which Jake asks Kamala Harris whether people would be able to keep their private insurance, if they prefer, under Medicare For All system — and she rejects that. "Let's eliminate all of that. Let's move on."
"Who among us has not had that situation?" she continued. "Where you got to wait for approval, and the doctor says, 'Well I don't know if your insurance company is going to cover this.' Let's eliminate all of that. Let's move on."

Waiting for approval? Did she just make that up on the fly? Who cares about waiting for approval? With her Medicare for All plan, people will be waiting in long lines for actual health care.
What Harris really wants to do is turn America into Europe with their bureaucratic nightmare of a health care system where people wait in lines forever for the kind of healthcare we get virtually on demand.
Look Obamacare was bad enough. It’s caused prices in the private insurance market to skyrocket in order to keep up with all the subsidized healthcare people are getting. And unfortunately it seems we are stuck with it, as much as I hate to admit…at least and until it eventually collapses under the weight of those high costs.
The solution to the problem of Obamacare is NOT an uber expensive socialist medicare-for-all health care system, but to REPEAL the subsidized health care system and restore the ‘free market’ system that was around before Obamacare.
And there are other changes that need to be made with regard to Medicare and Medicaid to keep prices down. Sanity can be restored to our health care system again, but not if Kamala Harris has her way.

NBC Washington Correspondent Yamiche Alcindor and former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade join Andrea Mitchell to discuss key challenges facing the January 6 Committee ahead of their primetime hearings this week: getting a "distracted nation" to pay attention and understand what's at stake. “I think the biggest challenge for lawmakers here, as they talk about these sort of huge ideas of American democracy and sort of the experiment that we're all living in, benefiting from, possibly being brought to his knees, is whether or not they can make people care,” says Alcindor. “The American public has been groomed to expect high value quick entertainment,” says McQuade. "I think putting together a polished show can be very important."
