This is exactly why the whistleblower doesn’t want to answer questions before Congress, because of the partisan motivation behind his “whistleblowing” and his coordination with Schiff’s committee. If he were to show up before Congress he’d either have to lie, which could get him into a lot of trouble, or tell the truth and expose everything.
