Michael Cohen: "I have done bad things, but I am not a bad man. I have fixed things, but I an no longer your fixer, Mr. Trump"

At least twice during his opening statement, Cohen stared directly into the camera to address Trump directly. The first time, Cohen gazed into the camera and stated, dramatically, "I am no longer your fixer, Mr. Trump."

As Cohen discussed several allegations against the president — from racist comments he's made in private to his connections with Russia — the boys furiously rage-tweeted to defend their father's honor.
It seems Trump Jr.'s been glued to his TV from the start, comparing Cohen's testimony to a "break-up letter" and quote-tweeting the GOP.
At one point both he and his bro Eric both claimed Cohen was desperate to work at the White House and found themselves in a nice conversation with each other.

The brothers were very vocal when it came to bashing Cohen's character, but it funnily enough neither of the men commented on Cohen's claim that "Mr. Trump had frequently told me and others that his son Don Jr. had the worst judgment of anyone in the world." An epic burn.

It seems Trump Jr.'s chosen to deal with the possibility that his father thinks his judgment absolutely sucks, by rage tweeting into the Twitter void for hours.
What a time to be alive!

  1. One of the best moments of the Cohen Hearing: Michael Cohen testifying in front of the House, and looking directly into the camera, speaking directly to Trump, “I’m not your fixer anymore Donald Trump.” It’s ballsy. It says “I’m not afraid of you Donald, bring it on.”

NBC Washington Correspondent Yamiche Alcindor and former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade join Andrea Mitchell to discuss key challenges facing the January 6 Committee ahead of their primetime hearings this week: getting a "distracted nation" to pay attention and understand what's at stake. “I think the biggest challenge for lawmakers here, as they talk about these sort of huge ideas of American democracy and sort of the experiment that we're all living in, benefiting from, possibly being brought to his knees, is whether or not they can make people care,” says Alcindor. “The American public has been groomed to expect high value quick entertainment,” says McQuade. "I think putting together a polished show can be very important."
